Phoenix Capital Recognized as Top Financial Advisor in Ukraine by ISI DealWatch
November 25, 2009, KYIV, Ukraine: Kyiv-based investment bank Phoenix Capital was recognized by leading international information agency ISI DealWatch on Nov. 20 as the leading financial advisor in Ukraine for 2009 by total number of deals completed.
Over the last 12 months, Phoenix Capital has concluded four investment-banking deals in Ukraine: securing a strategic investor for RIA media corporation; advisor in BLG Logistics Group's acquisition of a logistics project from Vidi Group', and the sale of a controlling stake in Radio Net Ok FM, and a private placement of 25% in leading Ukrainian agribusiness group Agroton Public Limited.
Despite the considerable correction experienced on the Ukrainian and global stock markets beginning November 2008, Phoenix Capital successfully completed four deals totaling $92 mln since that time.
